Dr Luan Tran
Dr Luan Tran is a graduate of Monash University. He has been working in general practice since 2000 after having worked in various public hospitals in the area of internal medicine for a number of years. Luan is also fluent in Vietnamese. He is an active member of the Richmond Football Club and the father of 3 young boys.

Dr Sairah Andrabi
Dr Sairah is one of our lovely female General Practitioners. She has a special interest in women’s health, paediatrics and chronic disease management.

Dr Samanthi Somawansa
Dr Samanthi Somawansa works Wednesday and Friday’s at PFGP. She enjoys all aspects of general practice having special interest in eye, ear and skin conditions.

Dr Jenny Zhan
Dr Jenny enjoys all areas of general practice. Her areas of special interest include women’s health, managing chronic disease and caring for the elderly. She works Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at PFGP.

Dr Nita Sharma
Dr Nita Sharma works in the clinic Monday to Friday and some Saturdays. She has special interest in aged care, women’s health and chronic conditions. She works Tuesday and Thursday mornings at the Village Baxter, Clarke and Grant Centres.

Dr Piotr Kalan
MBBS FRACGP
Dr Piotr’s areas of expertise include men’s health, aged care/geriatrics, complex medical and psychological medicine and travel medicine. He is able to speak fluent Polish, and consults on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday’s. Dr Kalan also visits the Baxter village on Thursday mornings in the Clarkes Centre.

Dr James Dobbing
Dr James completed his medical degree at the University of Melbourne and worked in a variety of hospital services through St. Vincent’s and Peninsula Health. He was drawn to a career in general practice for the variety of patient presentations and the continuity of care that general practice provides, and is currently completing his final year of General Practice training. His areas of interest include paediatrics and sports medicine, and in his free time he enjoys a long run or catching a footy game.

Dr Monique Mortale enjoys all aspects of general practice and has an interest in women’s health, children’s health and preventative medicine.

Dr Rohit Katal
Rohit works Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at Peninsula Family General Practice and also works at Village Baxter Aged Care. He enjoys all areas of general practice, having a particular interest in men’s health and performs minor surgery including skin excisions.

Dr Marcus Del Rio
MBBS, BCom
Marcus completed his graduate medical degree at Monash University and worked in a variety of specialty services with Monash Health. He thoroughly enjoys all aspects of general practice and has an interest in sport, sleep and preventative medicine. In his free time he enjoys the outdoors whether it be cycling or kayaking.
Marcus works Monday to Friday (excluding Thursdays).

Dr Rebecca Chan
Dr Rebecca Chan is excited to be joining Peninsula Family GP as she continues in her general practice speciality training. Her particular interests include skin cancer prevention, women’s health, and preventive medicine, however Dr Rebecca enjoys seeing all types of presentations. She strives to always provide empathetic, holistic, patient-centred care that is based on evidence-based medicine. She is also fluent in conversational Cantonese and can communicate in Mandarin to a lesser degree. Dr Rebecca works Tuesdays-Fridays. On her days off, she is busy cleaning up after her pet cockatiel, Frankie.

Dr Krishnan Rasaratnam
Krishnan obtained his medical degree in 2018 from Monash University. Before moving into general practice, he worked at Eastern Health developing a strong foundation across medical and surgical specialties. Krishnan enjoys all aspects of general practice, but has interests in Children’s Health and Sports Medicine. He completed the Sydney Child Health Program in 2021 and currently works as a doctor with Western United Football Club and Northern Bullants Football Club. Outside of work, he enjoys drawing, travelling, soccer and badminton.

Dr Jacinta Frawley
Jacinta completed her medical degree at Monash University and has worked in a variety of specialty services with Eastern Health. She enjoys all aspects of general practice with a special interest in paediatrics and sports medicine.

Kat is a caring and compassionate nurse that prides herself on patient centred care. She spends her spare time “ubering her children to sporting events “ studying and spending time with family and friends.

Courtney
Courtney is one of our lovely nurses with a background in emergency nursing. She enjoys all aspects of nursing with a special interest in adolescent health and wellbeing.
She spends her spare time being a mum to her three boys who love camping and swimming at the beach.

Adam Steinhardt
Adam is an experienced sports podiatrist who specialises in foot and ankle musculoskeletal diagnosis. He has a special interest in plantar fasciitis heel pain. Adam can also conduct diabetes foot assessment and provide general footcare, footwear advice and nail surgery.

Jacqui is a Mental Health Social Worker specialising in women’s mental health issues such as Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Mental Health, Family Law & Separation, Relationship Issues, Parenting, Chronic Health Support, NDIS Funded Therapy, WorkCover & Workplace Issues, Victims of Crime, IVF, Fertility & Post-Natal Depression/Anxiety, Family Violence Recovery, Menopause and Body Image issues.

Petroula Tsoudis is an Australian-based health professional. Petroula is trained as a Clinical Psychologist, Psychologist and has a practice located in Frankston. Petti is currently making all her own bookings.
