Dr Sherilene Carr

Psychologist

Sherilene works with adults who have experienced significant life-stressors and trauma that often develop into symptoms of depression and anxiety and difficulties with self-identity. Sherilene’s first priority is to develop a strong therapeutic alliance with the people she works with, grounded in respect and authenticity, to enable a feeling of safety in the therapeutic process. Sherilene is trained in several evidence-based treatment modalities, including Schema Therapy, EMDR, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Motivational Interviewing. Her background includes the completion of a PhD in psychology and she has worked in a number of settings, including academia, public service and the criminal justice system. Eve is a registered psychologist and Board Approved Supervisor with an area of practice endorsement in educational and developmental psychology. Eve has been practicing for over 15 years and loves what she does! Eve works with clients across the lifespan, from preschool through to older adults and has experience working in both educational and clinical settings working collaboratively to help her clients to thrive.
Eve has a special interest in treating clients with an eating disorder, body image difficulties and more general disordered eating patterns. Eve is a Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician (CEDC – Mental Health) giving you confidence that she adheres to best practice, regular training and ongoing supervision. Specific to Eating Disorders, Eve is trained in CBT-E, FBT & SSCM.
Outside of Eating Disorders, Eve works with clients experiencing complex trauma, anxiety, depression, grief & loss, post-natal and life adjustment difficulties. Eve also supports young people and their families experiencing school and relationship difficulties.
Eve’s main therapeutic approach is Schema Therapy; however, she is also trained in EMDR, DBT & EFT and incorporates principles of ACT into her work.

Charlotte brings over twenty years of experience in counselling, social work, and family therapy. Although Charlotte works with individuals, she has dedicated much of her practice to supporting children, youth, and families in a variety of settings. Charlotte’s approach emphasizes fostering understanding and connection within families, even when working with only part of the family. With a deep appreciation for the diversity of families, she tailors her support to meet each family’s unique needs. For those who have separated, or are in the process of separating, Charlotte believes that it’s absolutely possible for your family to thrive again post-separation. Some of the therapies drawn upon include Cognitive Based Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing and mindfulness strategies.

Jade has worked in the Mental Health space for over 15 years and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to working with her clients. Jade’s playful and eclectic approach is particularly helpful for young children, adolescents and families. As a neuro-affirming practitioner, there is no one-size-fits-all approach to counselling, and therefore, all sessions are collaborative and tailored to each unique person. Emily Bambrook

Emily is an experienced psychologist in youth and adult mental health, practicing on the Mornington Peninsula.
Emily is currently taking new referrals for telehealth for young people (12+) and adults. She is currently working through telehealth to offer lower fees to her clients, however, has the option for face-to-face appointments.
Emily is a trauma-informed psychologist dedicated to supporting young people and adults through a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, self-injury, addiction and neurodivergence, drawing on a variety of therapeutic approaches and tailoring her methods to best suit the individual needs of each client.
Emily also offers Autism Assessments (13+) for those wanting to understand themselves. However, her books are currently closed to NDIS assessments.
